ESTEE EDIT

As you've probably already assumed from my plethora of Instagram posts, this past October I was cast for Estee Edit's latest social media campaign! Although my face is currently all over a cosmetic brand's social media, I have to admit that before this year I probably knew as much about makeup as a frog (kay don't laugh, I couldn't think of a good analogy - so frog it is)...

With all of the shoots I have been doing lately, all of the amazing make-up artists I have gotten to work with, and the unfortunate state of my skin right now (that's another story) I have been forced to learn a thing or two about the art of painting my face!

If i'm not shooting, I like to keep my day to day make-up routine pretty natural...

First I will use concealer to cover up any spots that I have - lately I have been breaking out around my jaw (FML)

I don't like using foundation or anything like that because I find it makes me look CAKE CAKE CAKE CAKE CAKE CAKE CAKE CAKEY (A little Rihanna reference)

One product that I fell in love with this year and now cannot live without is highlighter. Estee Edit's 'Beam Team' is hands down my favourite product right now. I use it as a cream highlighter and rub some on my cheeks, my forehead, the bridge of my nose, and my cupid's bow. Not to toot my own horn, but I've gotten countless compliments on my skin whenever I go out wearing this. It makes your skin instantly look glowy and dewy which is my favourite look.

Next I apply blush - I tend to prefer a cream blush, just because it goes along with my whole dewy vibe.

Lastly I brush my eyebrows with a spoolie and fill them in if they are looking patchy, and then apply a lip balm and or lip-stain to finish!

I have an exciting snapchat takeover coming up next week - which will feature a 'get ready with me' segment, maybe i'll try my hand at a couple of make-up tips!!
